The search for the next generation of UK seafarers has been launched thanks to a collaboration between one of the world's largest ship owners and a renowned UK maritime charity. Teekay Shipping which has a regional hub in Glasgow, is working with Trinity House, a UK charity dedicated to safeguarding shipping and seafarers, to recruit cadets from across the UK to undertake a three or four year training programme which could lead to a permanent role with Teekay.
