Encoder euro HUEBNER Benelux b.v. (EHB) is known for their quality high-service, products and engineering capacity and introduces a new encoder with direct fiber optic technology. The 'optic' signal is transmitted in synchronisation over both fiber optic cables. In the receiver module, both signals are compared and status information is set. When loss of a fiber optic transmission line, all communication will go over the remaining working cable and a default output is set. The transmitter converts the electrical signal generated in the encoder signal into a optic signal. These are read through the two optical fibers and interpreted by a receiver. The Baumer's own transmission protocol and channel coding is designed in such a way that the transfer failure of a particular length can be compensated in the receiver module.
