$53,000,000 RESEARCH BOOST FOR U.S. SHIPBUILDING

The Executive Control Board (ECB) of the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) last month announced the selection of nine new research projects for negotiation as part of the Navy/Industry co-funded MARITECH Advanced Shipbuilding Enterprise (ASE) program. The projects were selected from proposals received during the FY00 competition and were deemed to provide best value for helping the U.S. shipbuilding industry improve their productivity and efficiency.
