Carnival's Fathom gets the okay to sail to Cuba

Its official! Carnival Corporation & plc, has been granted approval by the Cuban government to begin traveling to the island beginning May 1,2016. This will mark the first time in over 50 years a cruise ship has been approved to sail from the United States to Cuba. Carnival Corporation & plc's social impact brand Fathom will operate the 704-passenger MV Adonia to the island. The itinerary will feature three ports of call-Havana, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.
