Propeller protection for two reefers

After the propellers of two of its reefers were affected by severe cavitation the owning company chose a protective Ecospeed coating for both propellers. The application was performed in August and will prevent cavitation and mechanical damage from occurring again in the future.rnAn Ecospeed inspector flew to Riga to follow the coating of the first propeller. Two layers of the coating were applied and the propeller was then effectively provided with an impenetrable protective.
