KVOC technology reduces crude oil flashing

The investigators determined that crude oil flashes in localised areas of piping where the oil pressure falls below the True Vapour Pressure (TVP); but when recompressed to reach the TVP, the VOC gas will reabsorb and condense. Flashing, however, is instantaneous, while re-absorption takes considerably longer to achieve, and some will not do so before being loaded into the cargo tank.
