Lloyd's Register (LR) has made two new senior appointments in Asia. Luis Benito has been appointed Strategic Marketing Manager, Lloyd's Register. Based in Singapore, he will strengthen the links between the organisation's technology development, strategic research and its ship-owning and shipbuilding clients who are looking for support to design and build the ships of the future. A 20-year veteran of classification, until taking up his new role he ran LR's operations in Korea.
