Kellogg Acquires Mother's Cake & Cookie; Lance Purchases Archway Cookies

Kellogg Company is in the process of acquiring the trademarks and recipes of Mother's Cake & Cookie Co., a regional brand in the western United States. Kellogg did not purchase any other assets of the company. Kellogg plans to reintroduce many of Mother's Cookies' most popular cookies. Mother's Cookies brands include iced animal crackers, sandwich cookies and wire-cut cookies.
