Mars France reduces CO_2 emissions

Mars Chocolate France's initiative to reduce CO_2 emissions at its Haguenau facility has been honored by France's ESSEC Business School in its annual Grand Prix. The Green Steam project, which has reduced Haguenau's carbon dioxide emissions by 8,700 metric tons annually and its emissions from energy consumption by 60 percent, won the Grand Prix Responsible Industries award in the Consumer and Food Sector.
