WCF hosts discussion of fine-flavor cocoa

The World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) cocoa industry stakeholders recently met in Ecuador to focus on cocoa flavor and quality - two major issues for the global chocolate and cocoa sector. Participants, including cocoa producers, researchers, industry executives, government officials and civil society organizations, are exploring how chocolate manufacturing is influenced by cocoa quality standards, direct sourc-ing and mapping of cocoa flavor characteristics.
