There are some things that never go out of style and Walter Richmond's book Choice Confections is among them. Written in 1954, the book manages to chronicle the staples of American candy-making. Little wonder it is referred to as a bible of candy-making as its recipes and lessons linger in the kitchen and span generations. Walter began writing in 1928 and no doubt had been thinking about candy long before he took up a pen.
