MobileRobots is offering the MT490 mobile robotic workstation, designed to allow robot application developers to better use their robotic aids in hospitals, labs, and offices. MT490 features an onboard PC with display used to access data and task the robot. Tasks include checking sensors for hazards, helping nurses track patient care, and delivering supplies. Users can sendrnrequests for equipment through a smart phone on the mobile workstation. Built on MobileRobots' Motivity technology, the MT490 can also follow people or be assigned to a task through its touch screen. Other features include data access, asset tracking, process logging, and sensor modeling.
