Occupant Safety Restraint Devices in Automobiles

There has been a significant rise in living standard and safety regulations made by the government for the people in developing nations. This has led to an increasing demand on the automobile manufacturers to introduce safety devices viz. seat belts and airbagsl for the user. From Table 1, it can be seen that the market for safety restraint devices has shown a significant rise from 1990 to 1996 and is expected to grow further with rising consciousness among the consumers.
