PRESIDENT'S PERSPECTIVE

Having just returned fromrnLIGHTFAIR as I write this message, my first as IES president, I am in a state of wonderment at the changes we are witnessing in our industry. LIGHTFAIR 2010 was by far the largest lighting event ever held in Las Vegas, with attendance reaching the total of LIGHTFAIR 2009 in New York, the largest LIGHTFAIR ever. With nearly all of the booth space already reserved, LIGHTFAIR 2011 in Philadelphia promises to be the biggest yet. The LIGHTFAIR Management Committee has moved our trade-show to the Pennsylvania Convention Center May 14-17, 2011 because of ongoing construction at the Javits Center. Mark your calendars！
