PRESIDENT'S PERSPECTIVE

During some much appreciated vacation time in May, my wife Melonie and I stayed at a favorite location on the Southwest Washington coast. Those getaways over the years have supplied me with countless opportunities to take photos of seabirds like the one on page 8. When it comes to photography I cannot tell you what all the technical details are that bring a photo like this to life; I am more concerned with composition and framing, not the f-stop and shutter speed.
