Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced a plan to usher New York City's transportation infrastructure into the 21st century-and hopefully beyond. Funded by the MTA's $27-biltion capital plan, the "New York Crossings Project" focuses on reconfiguring 10 bridges and tunnels to incorporate automatic tolling, enhanced security and resiliency measures, and public art displays.
