Volk's Electric Railway

A special service was operated on Volk's Electric Railway over the weekend of 19/20 February for the Brighton Modelworld Exhibition. A 30 minute service was operated using car 6 and volunteer drivers from the Volk's Electric Railway Association. It had been planned to run a 15 minute service using 3+4 and 7+8 with new control gear installed by the NEI Division of Rolls Royce. This was not possible as the cars had not been passed by the Railway Inspectorate.
