Alstom and Bombardier look to further Russian tramway and metro vehicle orders

After the appearance of an Alstom Citadis in Moskva in February, and that company's joint venture with Transmashholding (read more on Alstom's activities in Russia on page 340), Russian manufacturer UVZ (Uralvagonzavod) and Bombardier Transportation signed co-operation agreements covering the manufacture and sale of metro and light rail vehicles to Russia and other CIS states on 12 July.
