This enlightening and timely book in the Chandos series on publishing is written by a Slovenian scholar of librarianship and publishing history, Miha Kovac. So, one would expect it to not be as LIS oriented as a mainstream Chandos library and information publication, and that is the case. But this is in no way a problem for any librarian whose eye is caught by its provocative title: Kovac connects the world of mainstream librarianship with the world of contemporary book publishing in fascinating ways, so that practitioner librarians will enjoy reading this monograph.
