I spent 20 years speaking…at support staff conferences and getting some started that fostered the professionalism of support staff. Often called nonprofessionals in those days, we got that term stopped…. I was part of a systematic movement to get respect for support staff, whoever and wherever they might be…. Our concerted efforts brought more respect and taught support staff how to deal with problems in certain management systems….
