Digital inclusion for visually impaired students through assistive technologies in academic libraries

ATs are beneficial to people living with visual disabilities. Library directors should give adequate attention to budget for, and appropriate space for the the use of these technologies in the library. It is also imperative that a librarian be designated to meet the needs of students with visual and other limiting disabilities. Access to ATs in the library is a fundamental human right.
