World demand for hides better than last year

In general, demand for hides from the world's major tanning centres was seen as being better than at the equivalent time last year. Conversely, there also seems to be a comfortable supply side with less than abundant inventories among tanners. Such market conditions suggest that the prices for most selections will increase at least through the rest of April and May.
