摘要

Chile-based telecommunications operator GTD has rolled-out fiber-optic connections supporting speeds of 100Mbps in Manquehue, Santiago de Chile. Most of the existing Internet connections in the country have speeds of 0.2 and 1 Mbps. GTD had unveiled this FTTH project in March 2006 via a pilot project blanketing 19 homes in Santa Maria de Manquehue, Vitacura.
