Paraguay's regulator, Conatel, has granted a deal to mobile operator Tigo for launching mobile services in four underserved segment in order to help it reach its universal service goals.rnUnder the agreement, Tigo will launch its networks in 35 municipalities in Canindeyu, Amambay, San Pedro, and Concepcion that don't have access to mobile services. The government plans to provide US$1.04 million for this deployment.
