Social network Pinterest announced it will open an office to manage its Brazilian operations this year. Pinterest said it is "actively hiring" a team of 3-4 local employees. According to Matt Crystal, manager responsible for the international expansion of the service, Brazil is a "spectacular" market that has "historically taken a different approach to Internet services."
