TIM Brasil names 5G launch locations

TIM Brasil has revealed that its commercial 5G service will go live in Bento Goncalves (in Rio Grande do Sul), Itajuba (Minas Gerais) and Tres Lagoas (Mato Grosso do Sul) in September this year. According to Valor, the operator will use dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) technology in the three cities, while the vendors involved in the deployment will be Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia.
