Urban design pedagogy in smaller cities and schools

Most of the papers in this special issue describe pedagogical innovations from large universities in big metropolitan regions. Can urban design be taught with fewer resources at smaller planning schools located in medium-sized or smaller cities?This note describes the approach from a two-year graduate planning programme at a public university located within a city of 120,000 in central Canada.
