摘要

Aromatic main-chain polymers constitute a majority of engineering thermoplastics because they have excellent chemical and thermal stability and mechanical strength. The introduction of functional groups into the aromatic main-chain polymer would allow the creation of high-performance materials with specific function and durability and a wider scope of potential applications. For example, functionalized polysulfones have been actively investigated as membrane materials for liquid and gas separation and fuel cells.
