Managing local government archives

Managing Local Government Archives is a collaboration between two local United States archivists, John H. Slate, city archivist for Dallas, and Kaye Lanning Minchew, executive director of Troup County Historical Society from 1985 to 2015. While naturally the authors present the subject of local archives very much from an American perspective, they nonetheless have produced a publication that serves as a practical guide for almost anyone anywhere who has been tasked with the setting up and management of a local archives service.
