摘要

The fluidized beed expansional characteristics of polydisperse spherical and no-spherical particles were experimentally determined. The ε = f(Φ) and ε = f{(Φ/w_i) relationships showed a pronounced linear dependency. In examining beds of glass spheres with different particle size and density distributions it was shown that for polydisperse beds an additive expansion law exists giving a linear ε = K x Φ and ε = K_1 (Φ/w_i;) relationship. The degree of linearity depends on the size, shape and density distributions of the particles constituting the fluidized bed.
