Feliks Mikhailov: The Life-Giving Power of Affective Thought

April 12, 2005, the latest anniversary of man's first flight into the cosmos, also marked the seventy-fifth birthday celebrations of a man who has devoted his entire life to the conquest of the cosmic reaches of the human spirit. A man for whom the depths and heights of the spirit have always been equally accessible, because, in essence, they have coincided with one another. Feliks Trofimovich Mikhailov is an academician of the Russian Academy of Education, a doctor of Philosophical Sciences, a professor, a chief scientific associate of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and head of the Department of Philosophy and Culturology of the Russian State Medical University.
