The pace of development in the field of multiple testing is currently very fast, and this book provides a useful summary of important recent developments in the area. There is, however, a strong focus on the methods that have been developed by the authors as opposed to a general overview. The central theme of the book is the estimation of the null distribution of test statistics, in contrast with estimating the data-generating null distribution.
