Circular and Linear Regression: Fitting Circles and Lines by Least Squares

This book discusses methods of fitting lines and circles to data. The first two chapters are concerned with line fitting, and the remaining six chapters (and consequently the bulk of the book) describe fitting circles in detail. Algorithms for fitting circles are given, compared and discussed. MATLAB code of many of the algorithms given is included on the author's Web page. Throughout the book key references are highlighted, and some commentary on the application of the results described is provided.
