Submissions to the Journal of Propulsion and Power remain strong and are growing. In the period between October 1, 2012 and September 30, 2013, 356 manuscripts were submitted to the journal, up from 309 the year before. During the last quarter of this period, the equivalent annual submission rate had grown to 400. The portion of these submissions coming from our colleagues originating in countries other than the United States remained about the same, with 67% of the submissions coming from these sources, compared to 66% the year before. Asian countries continue to have a large presence, with fully 53% of these other submissions coming from the People's Republic of China, India, Japan, or South Korea. We turn next to acknowledging the services of the many individuals without whom the Journal of Propulsion and Power could not continue to publish high quality articles about propulsion and power.
