Promoting Green Construction in India through Industry-Academia Collaboration

The workshop highlighted that the level of collaboration between academia and industry in general and on issues to do with green construction in particular needs a great deal of attention and improvement, and both the sectors do realize this. The industry is worried about the long delivery times, high risks, and the focus of academia on teaching and pure research. Academics, on the other hand, are of the view that industry is not willing to invest in academic institutions to reap the benefits in the future.
