Face-to-face Networking

The information and communication technologies are well known through modem systems that integrate phone, videophone, telex, fax, video-game consoles, television and radio, all in computerized devices connected through the Internet. Before this technology was developed, the only way to communicate was by mail, through messengers and of course, face-to-face. By the beginning of the 20th century, people, mostly wealthy, would attend world fairs and universal expositions since as the only way to actually see the marvels exhibited there. Despite the telephone having already been invented, telegraph was more commonly used, but it was not real time communication because a translator, Morse code, was employed. Human language communication was needed.
