Normal homogeneous spaces admitting totally geodesic hypersurfaces

In [3], Chen and Verstraelen treated the classification of (locally) symmetric spaces admitting a hypersurface with a particular property. Also, in [6], Koiso treated similar problem among the class of Einstein manifolds. In this paper we shall treat a similar problem to the above among normal homogeneous spaces which are known as a generalization of Riemannian sym- metric spaces of compact type.
