Supply chain risk in an uncertain global supply chain environment

Les risques qui se présentent à la chaîne d'approvisionnement ont pris beaucoup d'ampleur et d'étendue au cours des dernières années. Même avant les attaques terroristes de 2001, l'apparition de risques et d'incertitudes s'est renforcée suite à la globalisation accrue, à l'élargissement de la portée politique des pays pilotes et à l'augmentation des économies de marché productrices et consommatrices. La perspective que voici pose quelques questions essentielles concernant la chaîne d'approvisionnement et souligne certains des problèmes qui influencent le domaine de l'extérieur.%The breadth and scope of supply chain risks have broadened significantly in recent years. Even prior to the 2001 terrorist attacks, the creep of risks and uncertainties were widening with increased globalization, widening political reach by leading countries, and the rise of market producing and consuming economies. This article raises some essential supply chain questions as well as some that have impact on the field from outside of it.
