摘要

Collegiate business programs cannot continue to promote themselves as providing exemplary high-quality education that meets the needs of future business leaders and at the same time perpetuate the status quo abdication of providing graduates essential knowledge tools in business law (the Rules of The Road for Commerce). Put simply, it is bad for business and bad for the profession. ALSB's effort to initiate a renewed focused strategic plan to improve the status of the discipline with dedication of its members, good faith efforts of other business faculty, administrators, stakeholders and accreditation bodies can strike the right curricular balance-increasing student knowledge of business law. This is a key area of value added for collegiate schools of business and important tools in the business knowledge tool box we provide business graduates to successfully navigate today's marketplace.
