It has become a truism that the Internet poses significant and complex problems to myriad areas of the law. Diffuse, anonymous, and inherently anarchic, the Internet is not easily constrained by regulations that were designed for the real world and not cyberspace. While the Internet has had profound impacts on First Amendment jurisprudence and criminal law, among other fields, the challenges to intellectual property law are of particular interest.
