摘要

At first, formation procedures and structural features of the partial double layer latticed dome are proposed, and nine basic forms are presented meantime. Basic analytical assumptions and numerical method are developed briefly to aim at the particular partial double-layer form, whose members are classified into three kinds, that is, three kinds of elements, the conventional rod and beam elements, and a peculiar beam element of 9 d.o.f. The comprehensive comparison of the number of nodes, members, member weights, buckling behavior and loads have been carried out for various kinds of partial double layer domes. Furthermore, the effects of the single layer coverage scope on the buckling loads and behavior are also investigated for a peculiar form of partial double layer dome. Finally, many practical conclusions have been summarized from a series of numerical results.
