摘要

This paper reports the wind tunnel test under the turbulent boundary layer flow on the conic-shaped membrane roof, namely "horn-shaped membrane roof". In addition, the static and the dynamic responses analyses using the data which was obtained from the wind tunnel test show stress and displacement of the membrane roof. From these studies, the authors suggest the gust effect factor for membrane structures [G_(fm)] as a new concept of gust effect factor. This value considers apre-stress and form of the membrane roof to design the membrane roof. Finally, this paper indicates the example of G_(fm) value for the horn-shaped membrane.
