Dynamic gesture recognition is an important task to human-computer interaction research. Be different from conventional gesture recognition, in this paper, the cognitive behavioral model was put in the gesture recognition process. The dynamic hand gestures recognition was in stages. Based on specific virtual scene, first of all, according to the cognitive information got from the virtual scene, we set up the cognitive behavioral model. Second, we use the previously cognitive behavioral model for semantic gesture recognition. Third, we proposed a proportion interval algorithm to identify the dynamic hand gestures accurately in the collection of semantic gestures. The experiment showed that our method of dynamic gesture recognition rate reached 96.5%.
