摘要

Piles of logs are placed spontaneously which cause the logs face images are usually mixed with shadows. Besides, the cracking and breakage make the logs face recognition very difficult. In this paper, the genetic algorithm is used to determine two turning points of three-stage linear transformation for the image enhancement, then the homomorphic filter is used for the image segmentation. Experiments proved that the improved generic algorithm in such image segmentation can obtain better effect, especially for the shadow and stubbles situation.
