Campaigning for NAHRO's 2009 Biennial Election Begins in San Antonio

Candidates for the Association's 2009 Biennial Election of President and Senior Vice President may announce their candidacy and speak at the Candidates' Forum at the National Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 26-28, 2008.rnAssociates and Allied Individual members who intend to seek office and would like to participate in the Candidates' Forum should write to Larry Loyd, Chair of the Nominating and Election Committee, by Sept. 12. Mr. Loyd is Executive Director of the Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County and can be reached via email at laloyd@hcaac. org. At the forum, candidates will discuss their goals for NAHRO and the housing and community development profession and how they plan to carry out those goals, if elected. It should be noted that candidates are prohibited from making public announcements of their candidacy prior to the National Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio.
