摘要

Multiwavelets have orthogonality, compacted support, and symmetry simultaneously: these properties are very important for signal processing. However, most of multiwavelels require related prefilters. An approach to construction of a symmetry/antisymmetry orthogonal filter is proposed and the corresponding balanced filter is constructed, no any prefllter is necessary. Experimental results show its performance to be superior to DGHM and CL multi-wavelets, closer to or higher than Bi9/7.
