ARGUMENTS FOR THE USE OF MEDICINAL WINES BY PATIENTS WITH X METABOLIC SYNDROME

The X metabolic syndrome represents a few symptoms which often appeared together. The obesity, the insulin resistance and the anomalies of the sanguine lipids can indicate a person who presents a metabolic syndrome. To be sure that the patient has metabolic syndrome, the physician will measure the corporal weight, will made blood and urinary tests. After diagnosis, the patient must start a treatment, combined with dietary food and exercises. The medicinal wine with artichoke is a dietary supplement based on Cynarae folium (artichoke leafs) and white wine. It is a diet product because of the bioactive substances with hypercholesterolemia properties and hypoglycemic action. The medicinal wine with rosemary can be prepared through maceration of dried rosemary leaves in red wine. It presents a better digestion, a tonic cardiac effect and influence the cholesterol level to become normal. The medicinal wine with sage is based on dried sage plants in red wine, acting on digestion. It is a medium hypoglycemia and a good diuretic. Because the positive influence on the cholesterol and glucose metabolism, on the renin-angiotensinogen-angiotensin enzymatic system, the presented medicinal wines are recommended as dietary supplements for the overweight patients, for diabetics and for patients with different cardiovascular diseases, so for the patients with X metabolic syndrome.
