The mathematical instrument used to calculate the so-called marginal lines of the ground target run of an aircraft is developed in paper, in the scope of the kinematic theory, which is traditionally applied in calculation of this program trajectories of aircraft on the horizontal plane. The navigational problem is considered for a case where the parameters of marginal lines are determined, accounting for the wind and time of getting into and coming out of the turn. Exact and approximate analytical solutions of this navigational problem are given. A numerical estimate of errors of approximation algorithms in comparison with the exact algorithms is offered by a number of examples.
