The University of Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland City, New Zealand, which is ranked among the Top three best cities in the world to live. Established in 1883, the university is currently made up of six campuses, and has more than 5,000 staff and 40,000 students. It has the most comprehensive range of courses in New Zealand, with teaching and research conducted over eight faculties and two large-scale research institutes. As New Zealand's leading research-led university, it has key linkages with many of the world's top universities.
