Seamless Transport using Interoperable Smartcard Ticketing System

摘要

Barriers blocking seamless transport can be seen from the viewpoints of hardware and software. There are many barriers classified into hardware category, i.e., without appropriate facilities equipped such as, elevators, escalators, guidance blocks, etc. Fortunately newly introduced legislation promotes introductions of these facilities into stations. However, eliminations of software barriers are rather difficult.
